Project Description
Amblyopia
Amblyopia or laziness affects about 2 to 3 percent of the population and, if left untreated, can permanently reduce vision throughout the person’s life. Most of the time, the disorder has no definite symptoms and the child’s eye appearance is normal.
Diagnosis of Amblyopia
Diagnosis of Amblyopia
Usually, laziness first appears in routine pre-school examinations. Deviation of the eye can be both the cause and the result of laziness of the eye. Any eye deviation after 4 months should be checked by an ophthalmologist. And the longer the lazy eye treatment is delayed, the less likely it is to get full vision. And after 7 to 10 years of treatment, it has little effect on improving vision.
